Shell Questacon Science Circus25 years inspiring communities across Australia

What is the Science Circus?

When the Shell Questacon Science Circus comes to town, we set up an interactive science exhibition in the local town hall, school or sports centre we also perform entertaining, fascinating, informative, unparalleled, amazing, exciting and enlightening Science Shows.

While the Circus is on the road the team will give shows in schools during the day. We run teacher PD workshops and teachers you can now make school performance bookings online.

In the evenings the community are invited to come along to the Circus and see the hands-on exhibits and the science shows (children who have already seen us perform at their school will be able to see different shows).

See the Science Circus in action! This two minute production was filmed in Kalgoorlie in September of 2003.

The movie shows a school visit, teacher workshop and the Circus open to the public on Saturday afternoon. You can even catch a glimpse of Scotland's Dr Bunhead breathing fire! (Bunhead joined the circus for a couple of weeks on that tour).
